In addition to the VXScan data acquisition software that comes with the rental of our Creaform HandyScan models, we now offer additional VXElements application software as part of our rental fleet.
VXmodel is a scan to CAD software module designed to optimize meshes, prepare your scans for 3D printing, and finalize 3D scans for reverse engineering and product development. Once you’ve cleaned up the mesh and aligned the scans, you can export the data to your favorite CAD platform.
VXInspect is a dimensional inspection software module used for quality control of manufactured parts. Offering a complete toolset for all inspection workflows, VXInspect gives you the most value for your money.
Pipecheck is part of Creaform’s VXintegrity NTD Software Platform. This inspection module offers metrology-grade accuracy for the inspection of corrosion, cracks, dents, and wrinkles in your pipelines enabling owners to quickly make critical repair decisions.
ARTEC Studio Software
Artec scanners are used together with Artec Studio, industry-acclaimed software which has automatized much of the 3D scanning and processing procedure. Audible and visual aids guide you through the process and ensure that you are scanning correctly. Once you have captured the data, you can then optimize your model using the most advanced algorithms and features to create a perfect 3D replica.
When you rent an Artec EVA or Artec Spider it comes with a laptop with Artec Studio already installed.
FARO SCENE Software
HTS Advanced Solutions rents laptops with FARO Scene software already installed or if you just need a software dongle – we rent those too.
FARO SCENE 3D laser software is specifically designed for all FARO laser scanners. SCENE processes and manages scanned data both efficiently and easily by using automatic object recognition, scan registration, and positioning. Now SCENE also provides tools for automated target-less scan positioning. SCENE can also colorize scans. The software is extremely user-friendly and generates high-quality data in next to no time. All you have to do is check the results at the end.
Once SCENE has prepared the scan data, you can commence evaluation and further processing right away. Thus you have a whole series of easy-to-use functions at your disposal – from simple measuring to 3D visualization through to meshing and exporting into various point cloud and CAD formats.
Scan projects can now be published on a web server with the push of a button. The new WebShare allows you to share your scanning projects over the Internet. Intuitive access for your customers and partners plus the possibility to include simple measurements or additional information & hyperlinks to a scan.
FARO Cam2 Software
FARO CAM2 Software is an all-in-one metrology software for users who are looking for a single, complete solution for all tactile measurement and non-contact 3D scanning applications. The software is ideal for CAD and non-CAD inspection and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Leica Register 360 Software
HTS Advanced Solutions rents laptops with Leica REGISTER 360 software already installed.
Formerly known as Cyclone, REGISTER 360 provides the complete set of tools for aligning point clouds captured from different scanning positions, quickly and accurately. REGISTER 360 supports the use of Leica Geosystems HDS targets to geo-reference scan data, as well as the ability to align overlapping areas of point clouds – without the use of targets. This results in optimum registration and provides significant time- and cost-savings by reducing the need to place and extract targets.
